With the expansion of genomic technologies and the increasing production and exchange of bioenvironmental big data, the need for precise legal and regulatory frameworks to protect the privacy and security of genomic data has become more evident than ever. The main research question of this study is how cybersecurity laws and international regulatory mechanisms can be designed to ensure the secure and ethical global exchange of genomic data. The significance of this research lies in the fact that genomic data contain sensitive biological information, and any misuse or unauthorized disclosure can have serious legal, ethical, and social consequences. The aim of the paper is to analyze the role of cybersecurity in protecting genomic data and to examine the challenges and opportunities of regulating genomic big data in the international context. The research method in this study is descriptive-analytical, based on documentary analysis, including legal documents, international guidelines, and scientific articles. The findings indicate that the lack of coordination between national and international legal frameworks hinders the establishment of common security and legal standards, while the use of advanced technologies such as encryption and access management systems can help balance security, privacy, and data exchange. The innovation of this paper lies in providing an integrated analytical framework for evaluating cybersecurity and genomic data regulation internationally, which can serve as guidance for policymakers and researchers.
